I was a New Patient and nervous about my appointment. I had to switch to a new Dentist Office due to an Insurance change. Ashley was sooo Welcoming and Sweet! She introduced herself and asked if it would be ok that there was a dog that wandered through the halls. I was ecstatic!! I LOVE dogs and this helped my anxiety in a new office. I then was brought back to a room by Megan their Hygienist. She was very welcoming and sweet as well. A sweet Bernadoodle accompanied us in the room. He was soo sweet and well mannered. His name is Gunner! This is Megan's dog. Megan was very attentive, listened to me, and was very informative of what to expect and informed me of any recommendations that she may have. She was very gentle with my exam and cleaning. She was Great!! Next, I met Dr. Lauryne Vanderhoof! She was sooo personable and really made you feel calm and relaxed. She did her exam and then made some recommendations. I did not feel pressured one bit about any of the recommendations. She was a great listener as well. A genuine person wanting to get to know her patients! I was initially upset that our Dental Insurance had changed and that meant that I had to switch to a new office. It was a blessing in disguise! First of all, this specific office has only been open for a few years, so I see one review from 2017 - so I am assuming that was a previous owner and staff. I followed Dr Vanderhoof here from a previous office when she bought this business and I have never been happier. Due to anxiety,, I've always been scared of the Dentist, but she takes such good care of you and is so reassuring and careful, it redeemed my faith in dental care. :) The staff is friendly (and queer-friendly) and know me on sight. The pricing is always open and up front and they work with you when you have issues.
